Rather than storing potable hot water, the MaxiPod® heats incoming cold water instantly through a high-performance copper heat exchanger, ensuring consistent flow with minimal pressure drop. Simple to install and operate via a single thermostat, it intelligently heats only what is required—reducing boiler cycling, improving energy efficiency, and lowering running costs. Designed in accordance with WRAS requirements and incorporating WRAS-approved components on the potable water side, the MaxiPod® inherently limits the risk of Legionella and Pseudomonas. Secondary water within the MaxiPod® is never stored. Cold water is drawn directly from the mains or cold-water storage and passed through a high-performance copper heat exchanger, where it is heated instantly using energy from the primary thermal store. This on-demand process delivers fresh, drinkable hot water to outlets with minimal pressure drop, while a thermostatic mixing valve ensures safe and consistent delivery temperatures. By eliminating stored domestic hot water, the system inherently reduces the risk of Legionella and Pseudomonas, while maintaining high hygiene standards across both domestic and commercial applications.
