Designed to store primary heating water, MagmaPod helps smooth demand, reduce short cycling, and optimise heat distribution within complex systems. Available in copper, mild steel, or stainless steel configurations, each unit is fully insulated and built to specification, making it a robust and adaptable solution for a wide range of installations.

Designed for flexibility, the MagmaPod integrates seamlessly with multiple heat sources and system types, including direct and indirect configurations. It can be supplied with fixed coils or removable ‘U’ batteries for water or steam, alongside optional features such as immersion heaters, de-stratification pumps, plate heat exchangers, and PV-powered immersion options. Manufactured with bespoke design support—including CAD and BIM—the MagmaPod provides a reliable, future-ready buffer solution where performance, durability, and system efficiency are critical.

Within a heating system, the MagmaPod acts as a thermal buffer that stabilises operation and improves overall system control. By absorbing surplus energy and releasing it when demand increases, it helps maintain consistent temperatures, improve heat distribution, and protect heat sources from excessive cycling. This makes it particularly effective in systems with variable loads, large plant rooms, or multiple heat inputs working in parallel.

Configured as part of a direct or indirect heating arrangement, the MagmaPod supports efficient energy transfer across boilers, heat pumps, and other heat-generating equipment. Optional system enhancements—including de-stratification pumps, immersion heaters, and heat exchange solutions—allow performance to be tailored to specific site requirements. MagmaPod units are available in both direct and indirect formats as standalone buffer tanks, fully insulated and designed to suit a wide range of installation sizes and layouts. Indirect models can be configured with either a fixed coil or a removable ‘U’ battery, each suitable for water or steam applications, allowing performance and cost to be balanced to project requirements. Fixed coil options provide a more economical solution, while removable batteries offer added flexibility for servicing or future system changes. Where required, access holes can be incorporated to support inspection and maintenance, ensuring long-term usability in demanding plant environments.
