Available in three material grades—Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3—the EcoPod range allows specification to be matched precisely to system demands. Grade 3 cylinders are typically selected for standard domestic installations, while Grades 1 and 2 are manufactured from heavier-gauge copper to provide increased strength and durability where higher working pressures or greater heads of water are present.

The Perfect Cylinder For Apartments

The EcoPod Combination Unit is a compact, integrated hot water solution designed specifically for apartment and multi-occupancy residential applications. By combining cold water storage and hot water storage within a single vertical unit, it provides a practical solution where space, simplicity, and reliable performance are essential. The system is suitable for both gravity-fed and pumped hot and cold water supplies, making it adaptable to a wide range of apartment layouts and installation requirements.

Each EcoPod Combination Unit comprises a cold water storage tank mounted above an indirect copper hot water cylinder, complete with integral isolation valves, electric immersion heaters with energy cut-out protection, and internal feed and expansion pipework. To support efficient operation, the unit is fully insulated with 35mm of environmentally friendly foam insulation across all components, excluding the cold water storage lid. The result is a neat, self-contained cylinder solution that simplifies installation while delivering dependable stored hot water for residential use.

Integrated Hot Water Storage for Apartments

The EcoPod Combination Unit Deluxe is a fully integrated hot water storage solution designed for apartment and multi-occupancy residential applications where space efficiency and straightforward installation are critical. Built as a complete steel-framed unit, it combines a Grade 3 copper hot water cylinder with a black polythene cold water storage tank and pre-configured inter-connecting pipework, providing a neat, self-contained installation solution.

Available in both direct and indirect configurations, the EcoPod Combination Unit Deluxe offers flexibility to suit different system requirements. Direct models are supplied with two side-entry immersion heaters, while all units incorporate a 227-litre cold water storage tank as standard. The result is a robust, practical cylinder solution that simplifies installation while delivering dependable stored hot water for apartment developments.

Configurable by Design

MagmaPod units are available in both direct and indirect formats as standalone buffer tanks, fully insulated and designed to suit a wide range of installation sizes and layouts. Indirect models can be configured with either a fixed coil or a removable ‘U’ battery, each suitable for water or steam applications, allowing performance and cost to be balanced to project requirements. Fixed coil options provide a more economical solution, while removable batteries offer added flexibility for servicing or future system changes. Where required, access holes can be incorporated to support inspection and maintenance, ensuring long-term usability in demanding plant environments.
