Unlike traditional storage cylinders, the Hot Water Generator® keeps potable water moving and only heats it when required. This ensures it never sits long enough for bacteria to grow, while delivering consistently safe, hygienic hot water.
The copper heat exchanger’s rippled surface keeps sediment suspended, preventing build-up and stopping biofilm from forming. Because the system stores primary water in a highly insulated thermal store (not potable water), it needs far less capacity than a conventional calorifier, yet can deliver greater volumes of hot water per hour — even at peak demand.
The thermal store design also allows you to capture more heat from renewable sources such as solar thermal or heat pumps, storing energy for later use. This, combined with reduced boiler cycling, can cut energy bills by up to 70%.
